Employee Spotlight: Uttam Dhar
Welcome to our Second Employee Spotlight. We’d like to take a moment to introduce Uttam Dhar, one of our first developers. He has been with Morphis since 2008 (13 Years). Uttam’s knowledge of the Morphis Database is only matched by our Co-Founders.
Q: How do you spend your time outside work?
- Outside my work, I like to spend my time with family & friends.
Q: How did you hear about Morphis? Why did you want to work here?
- I did not hear about Morphis before joining. I am from Bangladesh and I heard after joining in Bangladesh office. I want to work here because work environment is so friendly and everyone is too much helpful on everything.
Q: What’s the best thing you’ve learned working at Morphis?
- Our company made me learns about how to manage myself as an individual when I am in a team.
Q: What’s your go-to lunch?
- Rice, Red Lentil, Potato Fry, Fish Curry and Salad.
Q: If you didn’t work in marketing or as a software engineer, what would you want to do?
- I would like to be a doctor.
Q: What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
- Sense of responsibility for my team gets me up in the morning. And also the fact that I enjoy my job a lot.
Q: What has been your favorite project so far? Can you share an achievement that you are most proud of?
- Two projects named as “mta web apps” & “mTrack android apps” that I loved as because I learned so many things while I am working on those projects. I achieved “Microsoft Certified Professional” while I am working in here and I am thankful to my company who give me the opportunity to achieve this.
Q: What’s something most people don’t know about you?/ guilty pleasure?
- Sleeping in.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
- Actually I like to watch Bengali movies. My favorite movie is “Bela Seshe (English: At the end of the day)”.
Q: What is your favorite book?
- Actually I like to read Bengali books. Among of those, here are two which is my most favorite
- Kothao Keu Nei (Writer: Humayan Ahmed).
- Bohubrihi (Writer: Humayan Ahmed).
Q: What is your favorite song?
- Majhe Majhe Tobo Dekha Pai (Bengali Song)
- My Heart Will Go On.
