5 Key Highlights from IACOA

Posted - May, 2023

Earlier this month we attended the 50th Anniversary of the Independent Armored Car Association (IACOA) cash-in-transit networking conference. This years’ conference happened to be here in the DFW Metroplex only miles from Morphis Headquarters.

The close proximity to the conference location allowed Morphis to send its’ first all-female contingent to represent our company at the booth, during speed dating with the vendors and speaking on the panel with the Federal Reserve. Debra Miller, our Director of Sales, has been with Morphis for almost 14 years with a wealth of knowledge of the Currency Supply Chain Industry. Gabby Rodriguez, our Implementation Superstar, has been with Morphis for 5 years with prior experience on the client side which allows her to anticipate the needs of Morphis clients. And Tory Rahman, our Marketing Director, has been with Morphis for 4 years with prior experience with SaaS companies in the SAP Channel Partner Program. This Morphis team has a combined 70+ years of experience.

On the first afternoon of the conference, the Morphis team was represented by Debra Miller on The Cash Visibility Panel with the FedCash executive team. Cash Visibility is a multi-phase joint industry initiative bringing greater transparency and efficiency to cash supply chain logistics through a framework that indentifies, tracks, and shares data about cash packages as they move between cash supply chain organizations. This speaking opportunity was a great honor as Morphis continues to make an impact on the Cash Visibility Manifest set forth by the Federal Reserve. Robert Bujas, the assistant Vice President of FedCash Services said, “electronic data exchange is critical for the entire cash supply chain to speak the same language”. This exchange of data is where Morphis can connect the Bank to the Armored Carrier to the Federal Reserve and as Debra shared, “Morphis was the first FinTech to be successfully utilized during the FedCash E-Manifest pilot”.

I have to admit one of my favorite moments from the weekend was our Morphis Mixer on Saturday night after the conference ended for the Day. To witness our current clients mingling with future clients and the Morphis team all the while sharing insights and best practices was everything we dreamed up for the launch of The Morphis Community.

And our final major highlight is of course a big congratulations to Dallas Barr, President of Total Armored Car, for being voted in as the next IACOA President. Total Armored has been utilizing Morphis for a while and we are excited to take our partnership to the next level in 2023.

As Morphis continues to make strides forward with FedCash E-Manifest API, advancements with our forecasting models and creation of easier to use web apps and dashboards our clients are going to be unstoppable against their competition. If you want to be on the front line of those innovations, make sure to contact our team at SCTA in September and America Cash Cycle Seminar in November for all the details or reach out to Debra Miller today as she knows all things Morphis.
